Trainer Richard Fahey has revealed that both Knot In Wood and Wyatt Earp are in good form ahead of their scheduled tilt at the Wokingham Stakes, one of the biggest betting races of the five-day Royal Ascot meeting.
The 6f handicap, has witnessed some huge punts over the past few years, notably when the 6-1 favourite Lafi, landed a massive gamble for trainer David Nicholls and rider Eddie Ahern in 2004.
Fahey reported: "Both horses are fine. I'm not sure if Wyatt Earp will get in to be honest and we'll put him in the Buckingham Palace if he doesn't, but he's in great nick and has been running well all year.
"For Knot In Wood, this has been his target all year and he's in great order."
The James Fanshawe-trained Zidane currently heads the Betfair Wokingham market at 7.6. Knot in Wood (14) is considerably shorter than his stable-mate Wyatt Earp, who stands available to be matched at 22.
