Baltic King could bid for back-to-back victories at Royal Ascot later this month, but not in the Wokingham Stakes which he won last season.
Trainer Hughie Morrison favours sending the veteran sprinter out for the Golden Jubilee Stakes on the same Friday card.
Last season Baltic King warmed up for his Wokingham win by finishing sixth in the King's Stand Stakes four days earlier.
The seven-year-old made a satisfactory return to action when fourth to Asset in the Abernant Stakes at Newmarket in April, so could warm up for the Royal meeting in a Listed race at Windsor on Monday.
The son of Danetime has won eight of his 41 races, with his last victory coming at Beverley in the listed Bullet Sprint Stakes in August last year.
Baltic King can be backed at 22 in the Betfair ante-post list for the Golden Jubilee, with Aussie raider Miss Andretti the current 7.2 favourite.
