A tip from the Joker to get your betting day under way...

If he were alive today, Alexander the Great would be turning in his grave. More happily, the Joker is alive today and turning somersaults after Spain's 5-1 clobbering of Macedonia Under-19s last night.

What to do with his money? Well, there's always the Under-17 World Cup. It's reached the knockout stages and Italy are playing the USA this evening. It's being billed by Fifa as a grudge match - you'll remember of course that the Italians lost to Team USA at the 2005 tournament in Peru - but is that really the case? Wouldn't most of the current players have been about 12 years old at the time of that game?

Anyhow, the two teams managed only six goals between them in their six group-stage matches and both have admitted to striking problems.
