• As the season has progressed, the number of home wins has diminished.
• Teams whose games go against the form book (1): Hull. Not since the opening day have the favourites been victorious in Hull's Premier League games. They host West Ham on Sunday and Hull, ominously for them, are favourites.
• Teams whose games go against the form book (2): Spurs. The favourites have missed out in six of Tottenham's seven games this season too. Bad news for them - they are favourites to win at Stoke on Sunday.
• Teams whose games go against the form book (3): Wigan. The favourites haven't won in any of Wigan's last five games. That could be a sign that they will get a result at Anfield on Saturday.
• Teams whose games DON'T go against the form book: Portsmouth. The favourites have won six of seven games featuring Portsmouth this season.Unfortunately for them they are the outsiders at Villa on Saturday.
• The Big Four have yet to all win on the same weekend this season. They have been kept apart on four weekends (on two of the other three weekends, two of the teams met. United missed week 3 for the European Supercup.)
• There were six weekends last year when the Big Four all won, out of the 25 when they were kept apart. They last managed it on the penultimate weekend of last year's campaign, and would have repeated the feat on the final day were it not for Bolton's injury-time equaliser at Chelsea.
• The average percentage of home wins on the eighth weekend of the last four seasons has been unusually low - 37.5% compared to 47.75% during the last four seasons as a whole.
