Two pitches were frozen but six games still went ahead. Joe Dyer rounds up the early and 3pm kick-offs in the Premier League.

Cold weather knocked Portsmouth v Manchester City and Fulham v Blackburn Rovers off the Premier League menu today but there was some decent drama in the remaining matches.

Arsenal left it late at home to Bolton before scoring through Nicklas Bendtner to claim a 1-0 win and hold onto fifth place. Arsene Wenger's are within a win of Manchester United and Aston Villa, who beat West Brom 2-1 in the early kick-off. The Gunners were matched at an in-running high of [3.1] to win while the draw touched [1.6].

Everton's good form continued as the Toffees pulled off a comfortable 2-0 victory at home to Hull.

Newcastle and West Ham entertained the masses at St James' Park. Both teams held the lead - Newcastle touching [1.45] and West Ham [1.3] - before settling for a 2-2 draw. That scoreline was backed at [21.0].

And there was another stalemate down the road as Middlesbrough were held to a 1-1 draw by Sunderland. Kenwynne Jones equalised with 82 minutes gone to deny the backers of Boro at [1.16].
