"Total Goals Guys" talk us through their weekend selections which include goals at the Allianz Arena

We're playing it safe at Parkhead this weekend and will be taking on 1 goal or more in Hearts visit to Celtic Park. None of the sides we are concentrating on have had 2 consecutive 0-0 draws at home and we expect that run to continue here. The visitors are a shadow of their recent high flying selves and even last season used very negative tactics when visiting either of the Old Firm so we expect the Jambos to play for a draw but for Celtic to get a first home win of the season, just. Including the opening stalemate with Killy there have only been two goalless encounters here in 3 seasons so 1.05 is good value.

A goal at Stamford Bridge also looks a safe bet, where Pompey are the visitors on Saturday. The fact Shevchenko can't even get a sniff of first team action tells it own story and the new boys have hit the ground running. With Pompey and Chelsea both conceding on average a goal a game so far this season we like the look of 1.06 for 1 goal or more.

Table topping Man City's visit to the Emirates and Liverpool's lunch time visit to the Stadium of Light on Saturday are both a NO BET this weekend. With so many new players, Arsenal's visitors remain an unknown quantity and it's difficult to tell how they will approach this encounter. Liverpool again face one of those away fixtures we have worries about and despite Torres getting off the mark last week we still reckon 1.10 for a goal here is a bit iffy.

We're also staying well clear of our two sides in Spain this weekend. La Liga finally gets underway and in the same way we're avoiding Man City it might be worth taking a back seat on Real Madrid for a week or so. First up for Los Merengues is a home derby with Athletico Madrid. We don't like derbies for total goals betting and with a new manager, building a new squad, there are too many grey areas. Barcelona however are a more settled unit with Frank Rijkaard adding only a couple of new faces to his side as they aim to wrestle back the title from their rivals. An opening away tie at Racing Santander lies ahead for Barca but with no form to go on we feel our money is safer elsewhere this weekend.

Bayern Munich have enjoyed an encouraging start to the new Bundesliga season by racking up 7 goals in their opening two encounters, they are 1.24 in the match odds to take care of Hannover, suggesting another comfortable win could be on the cards. We agree and we quite fancy 2 goals in this one. Anything above 1.15 is worth a go for 2 goals or more when Bayern are at home so 1.19 is definitely worth taking on.

Another encounter we are going for 2 goals or more in is Rangers visit to Rugby Park in the early kick off on Saturday. We seen the Gers demolition of Falkirk first hand last week and with Daniel Cousin showing such fine early form as well as subs Boyd & Darcheville getting in amongst the goals confidence amongst the strikers is high. Rangers are much more creative in attack than they have been in previous seasons and with the talented Steven Naismith still dreaming of a possible move to Rangers, Killy are well capable of scoring also. 1.26 is available and despite it being on the skinny side as far as the last three seasons are concerned it a different Rangers side on show and confidence is high.

We finish off the weekend at Old Trafford on Sunday and on paper Spurs visit here is a dodgy one. It's a must win for United but Tottenham also need points to relieve some of the pressure on Martin Jol - What better way than with a win over United in their own back yard? Spurs will test United's back line here more than Reading did the other week and like with Celtic we can't see two home 0-0s in a row and are on 1 goal or more at 1.07.

The balance of £93.67 is being split equally between our 5 selections.
