Fabregas scores decisive penalty to take Spain through

Spain and Germany trade as the [2.68] joint favourites for Euro 2008 following David Villa and co's penalty shootout win over Italy.

In a tense tactical battle, Luis Aragones' team dumped the world champions out and entered the last four after Cesc Fabregas slotted home following Iker Casillas' save from Di Natale's poor penalty.

Spain to win on penalties was backed at [13.5] on Betfair while the 90 minute draw never went above [3.3] on the exchange.

Next up for the Spanish are Russia on Thursday night, while Germany face Turkey in the first semi-final the night before.
