Forward's treble lands bet at [80.0]

There will be toasts for David Villa across Spain after his hat-trick helped destroy Russia at Euro 2008 tonight - and one Betfair customer will be joining in after backing a hat-trick at odds of [80.0].

The Spanish forward's impressive display was part of a superb performance that has taken Luis Aragones' team to second favourites for the tournament at [5.7]. Villa is the [2.4]

Villa notched both Spain's first half goals - the 2-0 at half-time score was backed at [18.5] on Betfair.

In the late game, Petter Hanson's 73rd minute goal sealed a 2-0 win for Sweden over Greece. That scoreline was backed at [25.0].

A late Pavlyuchenko goal seemed to have settled the final score at 3-1 and Betfair customers were taking prices as low as 1.15 on that being the final scoreine only for a late Cesc Fabregas header to scupper their hopes. Five goals or more was, however, backed at [30.0].
