It's been a bad transfer window for...
Liverpool may have missed out on a couple of players, while Arsenal fans must still be disappointed they didn't get a new stopper, but overall they can be pretty happy with their work. However, these teams may wish the last few months had gone rather better...
Portsmouth
We couldn't begin anywhere else really. After going into administration they've been forced to sell seemingly dozens of players and yesterday offloaded captain Marc Wilson to Stoke. They managed to get Liam Lawrence and Dave Kitson as part of the deal, but with such a threadbare squad, it's no wonder they're favourites for the drop.
Aston Villa
Despite getting £18 million and Stephen Ireland for James Milner, Villa have failed to invest in their squad. They were well off Champions League qualification last year and could potentially be even further off this time. Lacking a permanent manager has hardly helped matters.
Nottingham Forest
Billy Davies was allegedly very close to walking out on Forest at the start of the summer because of the club's controversial transfer acquisition committee. And after a disappointing summer where they missed out on the likes of Darren Pratley and Peter Whittingham, the Forest manager may wish he'd cut and run.
Tottenham Hotspur
Even if they sign Rafael van der Vaart it will still be a pretty disappointing summer for Harry Redknapp. After qualifying for the Champions League, they could have done with several experienced European campaigners - they got William Gallas, a back-up goalkeeper and 21-year-old Sandro Ranieri.
Are we being a bit harsh on any of these teams? Let us know what you think below...

Depressingly Pompey deserve to be there and at the top but there must be a mention of the Arsenal. Failing to get a top goalkeeper might cost them the title...
