Latest transfer news - Gyan to Sunderland
Arguably the two most high-profile and expensive deadline day deals involving Premier League clubs have been completed in the last half hour, with Asamoah Gyan signing for Sunderland and Robinho leaving Manchester City for AC Milan.
Sky Sports report that the Ghana striker cost Sunderland a club record £13 million, and he will take the place of Kenwyne Jones at the Stadium of Light, while The Guardian quote £18 million as the fee AC Milan have paid for Robinho, though that could climb to £21 million.
The Rossoneri are going to be exciting to watch with Robinho, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Ronaldinho, Alexandre Pato, Marco Borriello and Filippo Inzaghi all at their disposal, and the impact this week's additions have made on their Serie A odds has been significant - they are now [3.1] to dethrone Inter.
Several loan moves have also been completed in the last few minutes, with Arsenal left back Armand Traore joining Juventus for the season and Liverpool's Emiliano Insua heading to Galatasaray in a similar arrangement.
