Everton and Aston Villa are sweet on Jelle
Belgian side Genk's £5 million-rated striker Jelle Vossen is reportedly attracting the attention of both Aston Villa and Everton.
The 21-year-old, already capped three times by his country, has hit a rich vein of goalscoring form with 13 in nine league games, and has also found the net four times in European matches.
That, according to the Daily Mail, has caught the eye of both Gerard Houllier and David Moyes. Their chairman may take some convincing to make a bid though, as he only signed a new five-year contract with Genk last month.
Meanwhile, the Toffees are linked with a different player in another tabloid as The Sun report that highly-rated American Omar Salgado has caught Moyes' eye. They claim that the 17-year-old forward has been given a two-week trial at Goodison Park.
Which club would you rather sign for? Despite Everton's slow start, odds of [2.0] are still offered on Villa finishing above them this season...
