Day 126: We're backing Athletic Bilbao to win at Real Mallorca (draw no bet) at [2.28]

On recent form, everything points to Athletic Bilbao enjoying a successful trip to Real Mallorca in the Monday night La Liga game, but as both Mallorca home defeats and Athletic travelling triumphs aren't that common, there's a possibility of the draw scuppering a straight bet on the away win.

However, there's enough to suggest that the visitors are the more likely victors despite the odds suggesting otherwise and for that reason we're making a rare foray into the "draw no bet" market in which if the match finishes level, the stake is returned, and backing Athletic Bilbao at [2.28].

The Basque club have won four successive Liga games for the first time since December 1997 and they haven't had the easiest of fixtures, one of their victories coming away to Atletico Madrid. Even more impressively, they have gone four hours and 46 minutes without conceding in that run.

Real Mallorca meanwhile aren't the force that they were at home last season when they came close to qualifying for the Champions League under Gregorio Manzano and they've lost eight of their last 11 matches in all competitions, including three of their last four in La Liga.

Their last appearance in front of their own fans ended in an utterly humiliating 4-0 loss to a Sporting Gijon side that had only scored five times in their previous nine outings on the road and hadn't netted more than twice in a single encounter all season, and a drastic improvement is unlikely tonight.

Our bet: We're backing Athletic Bilbao to win at Real Mallorca (draw no bet) at [2.28], meaning that - before factoring in commission - we stand to win £12.80. The same punt pays only £11.50 with Victor Chandler. Sign up for a new account now and have losing bets up to a total of £30 refunded for a week.

Profit so far: £100.60
