Group D - French revolution to begin

England had an appalling World Cup, so did Italy, but neither even comes close to the farce that was the French campaign. They failed to win a game, had Nicolas Anelka thrown out of the camp, and had a players revolt led by captain Patrice Evra - hardly textbook stuff.

However, they now have a new coach in Laurent Blanc and that trouble maker Anelka has been banned from the next 18 internationals. They have a young squad and will need a good qualifying campaign to restore the faith of the French public. They should finish on top at [1.61].

Romania are certainly not to be taken lightly though. Despite finishing fifth in their qualifying group for South Africa, they were in the same group as the French and managed to get two draws against Les Bleus and are currently priced at [4.0].

It's hard to look beyond these two when looking at the teams able to top the table. Bosnia ([5.1]) have won just one of their last seven games, while Belarus ([21.0]) haven't fared much better and have won only two of their last seven.

And none of you were seriously going to have a punt on Albania ([26.0]) or Luxembourg ([34.0]) winning the group, were you?

We reckon France will win come out on top in the group. What do you think? Let us know below...
