Day 74: We're laying PSV away at NAC Breda at [1.54]

After witnessing the form book transformed on numerous occasions in the Coppa Italia this week, with dreadful travellers suddenly relishing life on the road and Catania transformed from 1-0 experts into goal machines, it may be a while before we return to the competition for our daily £10 punt.

It's been a disappointing few days after a magnificent week (though while Thursday's Bet of the Day was unsuccessful, our Coppa Italia tips did deliver a profit) but we're going to try to sign off for the week on a high with a brave bet on Eredivisie leaders PSV dropping points for the second successive week.

They visit NAC Breda, a mid-table club whose most significant contribution to the current campaign was to defeat previously unbeaten FC Twente a fortnight ago, allowing PSV to regain top spot. They are also the ultimate Jekyll and Hyde side, simultaneously boasting the joint-second best home record and one of the worst away.

NAC have played eight league games at the Rat Verlegh Stadion this season, winning six and losing just one, while equally significant is the fact PSV haven't triumphed on any of their last five visits.

The one cause for concern is that PSV haven't lost an away match against Dutch opponents since March, however they have drawn several of the tougher tests, such as trips to ADO Den Haag, Roda JC and Ajax. NAC have won their last two against PSV in Breda, so should be capable of gaining at least a point.

Our bet: We're laying PSV away at NAC Breda at [1.54], meaning that - before factoring in commission - we stand to win £18.52. Sign up for a new account now and have losing bets up to a total of £30 refunded for a week.
