The African Cup of Nations is a biennial tournament which sees 16 nations from across the continent competing for the right to be called the best team in Africa. This year’s tournament, hosted in South Africa, takes place just 12 months after the last as organisers do not want it to clash with World Cup years. There is plenty of interest for Premier League fans, with players such as Tottenham’s Emmanuel Adebayor, Yaya and Kolo Toure from Manchester City, Chelsea's Victor Moses and John Obi Mikel, Cheick Tiote from Newcastle andA rsenal's Gervinho all featuring. The overwhelming pre-tournament favourites are last year's beaten finalists Ivory Coast.
