Betfair Education events

The mission of the Betfair Education team is to travel far and wide to help punters make the most out of betting on Betfair. At Betfair, we have a genuine interest in wanting you to win - it's the only way you can pay us commission! So unlike a bookie, we invest in teaching you about how to use the site and better betting in general. Exchange betting isn't the simplest concept to grasp, but once you realise how much more there is on offer than with traditional bookies, you'll wonder how you ever bet without it!

The sessions are free and designed to be fun, informative and interactive - it's your chance to ask us questions and get the most out of your Betfair experience. It's not a sales session about Betfair - it's all about improving your betting education, and hopefully that means using Betfair even more. We will have several staff or Betfair Accredited Trainers in attendance so we can cater for all levels of punting prowess. For novices, your main aim might be to understand what laying is all about. An experienced customer might want to discuss betting software or how to get their bets on a bit faster during a horse race. Others may wish to bring along a friend to show them what they're missing. There will be something for everyone and we can split the group into novices and experienced punters if necessary.

Events are held all year round throughout the UK. We endeavour to get to distant regional centres (Newcastle, Plymouth, Scotland, Wales) once per year, with sessions in more populated areas such London, the Midlands and Yorkshire holding events more often.
