An injury to Shivnarine Chanderpaul is set to have a major impact on Betfair's 'Top Windies Runscorer' for the current Test series.
The experienced Chanderpaul is a major doubt for the remainder of the Test series in England after being forced to miss the second Test at Headingley.
The middle-order batsman was left out of the Windies side for the clash at Leeds due to a knee problem that he suffered in the opening Test at Lord's.
Chanderpaul suffered from tendonitis in his right knee which became inflamed, he was given as much time as possible by the tourists but was eventually ruled out before the toss and was replaced by Sylvester Joseph.
Having drawn the opening Test, the loss of their most senior batsman - who scored 74 in the first innings at Lord's, is a major blow for the tourists.
The 32-year-old is now in a race against time to be fit for the third Test at Old Trafford - which gets underway on June 7.
Chanderpaul had been matched at 3.3 to finish the series as West Indies leading runscorer, but is now on offer at 5.2. Captain Ramnaresh Sarwan and Chris Gayle are the current 3.85 joint favourites.
