After a massive victory in the first test, it will comes as no surprise that hosts South Africa are very short odds in the betting to claim both victory in the second test and the series against New Zealand.
South Africa made light work of the tourists in Johannesburg as they landed plenty of the home fans' bets with a 358-run victory. They completed their win early in the afternoon session of the fourth day and punters considering a bet in the final Test may well be looking at the 'Test Match End' odds if they feel the Proteas can dominate to such a degree again at Centurion Park.
The margin of victory in the series' opener was the most impressive victory by a runs margin in South Africa's Test history, although punters considering a bet in either the 'First Innings Lead' or in either teams' 'First Innings Runs' markets will note that neither side gained a commanding lead when at the crease for the first time in the match.
Man-of-the-match Dale Steyn proved to be the difference between the two sides as he finished with 5-59 in the second innings to add to his five-for in the first and the Proteas will be hoping there is more of the same to come at Centurion as they attempt to justify their odds-on favouritism in the betting.
With the hosts unchanged for this final match, many betting punters will give the Black Caps little chance of fighting back to tie the series and securing their first win against South Africa since 2004 and a first victory on South African soil for 13 years.
