Chaminda Vaas feels Sri Lanka can go all the way and win the World Cup, after sealing three wins in their group matches.
The paceman ended with figures of 2-39 and smashed a quick-fire unbeaten 16 to help his country to a 69-run success over India on Friday.
The 1996 winners have been the most impressive side of the tournament to date, with confidence growing in the Sri Lanka camp.
When asked about their chance of success, Vaas admitted: "I think we have a very good chance.
"The team is playing with good unity at the moment. The batsmen are doing really well and the bowlers are doing their job too."
Mahela Jayawardene's men are now 6.2 to win the event, having been traded at 28 before the start of the tournament.
Defending champions Australia remain the favourites (2.62) with south Africa seen as their closest challengers (5.5).
