India will start as favourites in the betting to wrap up the five-match one-day international series against big rivals Pakistan, when the sides go head-to-head in the latest match in Gwalior on Thursday.
The home side took a 2-1 lead with a 46-run win in the third meeting between the two sides in Kanpur on Sunday, and the odds favour India taking an unassailable 3-1 advantage.
Punters looking to get involved in betting on the outcome of the fourth one-day clash will be aware of India's excellent limited-overs record against their major rivals, which includes the World Twenty20 final success in September.
This latest 50-over series has seen some high scoring with the bat which needs to be considered when betting on Thursday's game, with Yuvraj Singh, Sachin Tendulkar, Mahendra Dhoni and Sourav Ganguly all likely to feature heavily in the 'Top India Batsman' market.
The recent form of India bowlers RP Singh, Harbahjan Singh and Irfan Pathan is also likely to have a bearing on those punters eyeing a bet on Pakistan's run total in Gwalior.
However, given that Salman Butt hit his highest one-day score of 129 in the third match, betting followers of Pakistan may feel the tourists are starting to recapture some form with the bat.
Pakistan's bowling attack though, led by the controversial Shoaib Akhtar, will have to stifle the Indian batsmen if they are to defy the odds and claim a crucial victory, which would take the series into a decisive fifth and final game in Jaipur on Sunday.
