Friday was a thriller; what does Saturday have in store? Andrew Hughes will be bringing us the best betting advice from the Second Test at Trent Bridge and keeping us updated on the wisdom of Sreesanth

CLOSE England 23-1
That's it for the session, another thrilling day's cricket draws to a conclusion. Advantage India, thanks to another majestic Dravid century but what a spell by Stuart Broad. Don't forget to check out Michael Vaughan's take on the day's play here Thanks for being with me today, see you all tomorrow for what could conceivably be the conclusion of this Test.

WICKET Cook c Yuvraj b Sharma 5 The game rattles along. Sharma has been almost unplayable in this spell and Cook had looked all at sea. The advantage swings towards India once again. Who is coming out at number 3? Time for a nightwatchman? No, it's Ian Bell. 7 overs to negotiate.

17:30 England 0-0
Has there ever been a more dramatic spell of bowling? That was right up there with Ian Botham's spell at Edgbaston in 1981. I predicted that the Indian tail would be worth 30 or 40. In fact the last 6 wickets managed just 21! But having backed England at [2.74] and [5.6] there is no value to be had in their current price of [2.5] India are the favourites, just, with that 67 run lead

WICKET Sharma c Bell b Broad 3
Great catch from Bell and another wicket for Broad. What a conclusion to this innings! India's lead is 67 though. That could be a useful margin. While we wait for the change of innings, I'd just like to mention that after the close, Michael Vaughan will be giving us his take on the day's play, so look out for that here after 7:00 pm.

WICKET Dravid c Cook b Bresnan
And another! A slashed uppercut to third man. Has Dravid ever got out like that before? England are now down to [2.38] in the match odds market.

WICKET Kumar b Broad 0
Stumps everywhere! Broad has done it. What a series he's having. He's now [1.75] in the series top wicket taker market.

WICKET Harbhajan lbw Broad 0
Incredible. Broad on a hat-trick. As predicted, the Indian lower order crumbling

WICKET Dhoni c Anderson b Broad 5
What a blow! England right back in this

WICKET Yuvraj c Prior b Broad 62
England finally remove Yuvraj and unsurprisingly, it's a short ball that does the trick. India's lead is 46. England are still in this game, if they can get through the long Indian tail. Impressive innings by Yuvraj though, a glimpse of what he might be capable of at Test level.

16:43 India 260-4
The game is drifting away from England alarmingly at the moment. Surprisingly though, they are still massive favourites at [1.86] for the series win. If India are getting themselves into a match winning position here, that is surely far too short.

16:18 India 238-4
Fifty for Yuvraj and the game has changed completely. That drop by KP could be the defining moment of the match. India are [1.53] which is too short but the game could go away from England quickly here if they aren't careful.

16:03 India 215-4
We're underway again. My Betfair colleague, Ed Hawkins, the sports betting journalist of the year, has written a thoroughly entertaining book entitled 'Sporting Chancer'. It's well worth a look and you can read a review here

TEA India 215-4
Definitely India's session. England missed their chance by dropping Yuvraj, Swann came on too late and then was persevered with for too long and looks out of sorts. The biggest blow though is the injury to Jonathan Trott who may not be able to bat. Get in touch during the tea interval at betfairliveblogger@hotmail.co.uk and tell us what you think of the match so far.

15:13 India 187-4
Significant news that punters will have to factor into the way they see this match developing. Trott is to have a scan on his injured shoulder, he won't field again today and there is a chance he won't bat again in this match.

15:10 India 184-4
Swann is not bowling well at the moment and Yuvraj has just smoked him for three boundaries. Dropped by Pietersen in the gully, could Yuvraj be the hero for India. They are closing rapidly on the England total. We do have to bear in mind however that the Indian tail is long, the last four wickets probably worth no more than 30-40 runs.

14:55 India 162-4
Worth having another look at the Test Match End market. Having backed 'Day 4 Morning' yesterday at [5.8] we can add 'Day 4 Afternoon at [6.0] I can't see this game going to the fifth day, indeed, only 1 of the last 10 Tests here has genuinely lasted for five days.

14:35 India 153-4
Yuvraj is struggling a little against the short ball, as did Raina, neither have yet found a way to counter it effectively and consistently. England's odds creeping up again to [3.0] but are about right now. Punters need to be patient just as the bowlers needed to be patient. The home side's underlying position was strong, even during the Laxman and Dravid partnership. If these two stay together for another 40 runs or so then it will be time to reassess.

WICKET Raina c Morgan b Anderson 12
England patience paying off. Raina had struggled against the occasional short ball. Our two candidates for top Indian batsmen are out but you can't win them all. The Wall is still there. Actually, is The Wall a suitable nickname. He's a bit more effective than that surely. What do you think Dravid should be called? Get in touch at betfairliveblogger@hotmail.co.uk

13:50 India 119-3
We haven't mentioned the prices on an Indian win or the draw, mainly because they've been unattractive for most of the match so far, but with the Indian middle order exposed, it might be time to lay an Indian win at [1.86] as I think that will climb steadily this afternoon

WICKET Tendulkar c Strauss b Broad 16
That's a blow to India. Broad returns and gets the big one. There's no stopping him at the moment. The England win price collapses to a more sensible [3.6]

LUNCH India 117-2
Good morning for India, though batting wasn't easy. Should Swann have bowled? Was Laxman lucky to survive the earlier appeal from Anderson? Will Tendulkar get his century? Get in touch during the lunch interval at betfairliveblogger@hotmail.co.uk

12:40 India 107-2
The non-appearance of Graeme Swann is a bit of a mystery. Trott is about as threatening as a gerbil and there appears to be no reason why Swann can't bowl, his injury was external so his time off the field makes no difference. Not that impressed with the way England have used the conditions this morning.

WICKET Laxman c Prior b Bresnan 54
At last, a little extra bounce from Bresnan and that left Laxman a touch. England's odds back down to [4.4] Enter the Little Master.

12:15 India 81-1
Lovely half-century from Laxman, but then has he ever played an ugly innings? Graeme Swann is on the field and should be into the attack soon. I've been looking at the England top series wicket taker market. James Anderson is the favourite at [1.77] but I'd prefer to be on Stuart Broad at [3.0] He's the man in form and the two matches to come at Edgbaston and The Oval are likely to play to his strengths more than Anderson's. Graeme Swann is available at [5.0] but he is already 5 wickets behind Broad.

12:00 India 65-1
Anderson bowling bouncers is usually a bad sign. The conditions are still suitable for bowling, but England are not making the most of them at the moment. That said, I still think the market is overreacting and [5.6] is too big a price on an England win. I'd still be tempted to back them at that price.

11:38 India 48-1
To be fair to Billy, Hotspot showed nothing. There has been talk of batsmen smearing their bats with vaseline to ensure that any edges don't show up on Hotspot. Should they be allowed to get away with that? Let me know your thoughts at betfairliveblogger@hotmail.co.uk

11:36 India 48-1
England have probably been robbed there and have used up their remaining review. There was a noise as the ball passed Laxman's bat, but Billy Bowden the third umpire says he can't be sure that was out even though he heard a noise. But the runs have slowed and Anderson is getting the ball to swing consistently now.

11:30 India 46-1
Broad and Anderson starting to find their range now. I've backed England at [3.75] Obviously this can't go on indefinitely and we need a wicket soon, but there is still help for the bowlers out there and I don't think England should be higher than [2.5] at the moment. On the Laxman question, apparently he does usually bat at 3 in domestic cricket and it's a role he likes, He's certainly taken to it here.

11:15 India 40-1
India are doing the right thing, playing a few strokes rather than sitting back, but it wasn't a great opening over for Anderson. Some encouraging swing for Broad though and he will be particularly dangerous as the pitch starts to break up and become two-paced. Punters have taken fright with this good India start and England's odds in the win market are up over [3.35] Time to hold your nerve, England backers.

11:00 India 24-1
We're just about ready to start. Have India done the right thing in promoting VVS Laxman to three? He did pretty well yesterday but he'll have his work cut out this morning. Should Tendulkar have been promoted? Tell me what you think at betfairliveblogger@hotmail.co.uk

10:45 India 24-1
We had a good day yesterday, backing 'Any Other Batsman' at [6.8] in the top England batsman market and we also backed England at [2.74] in the match odds market, just as Broad and Swann began to counter-attack. Now this morning, England are [2.92], so do we go in again? I would say yes. This is a result pitch that has already started to deteriorate, the draw is out of the equation and I think England's score of 221 is not far off par. In those circumstances, backing the home side at [2.92] is the sensible thing to do. If Anderson and Broad make the ball talk again as they were doing last night, those odds will disappear pretty quickly.

10:35 India 24-1
Morning all. Lots to talk about before we get underway today - don't forget the email address if you want to get in touch is betfairliveblogger@hotmail.co.uk First though, yesterday Portugese Pirate pointed out that Sreesanth seems a lot calmer these days. And the man himself explained why after yesterday's play:

"Silence is the speech of the spiritual seeker. I am spiritual now."

So now we know. I wonder how long it will last...
