While Rajasthan will be keen to carry on from Thursday's amazing victory, Delhi will be depserate to atone for slipping up against Punjab, says Andrew Hughes.
Team News
Delhi rested David Warner and Dirk Nannes against Punjab on Friday and came a cropper. Of the two, Warner is more likely to return as his zest in the field was badly missed. And will Glenn McGrath ever get a game? We are led to believe that Shane Warne is carrying a significant hamstring injury, but it didn't stop him leading his Rajasthan team to another amazing victory on Thursday and he is unlikely to want to miss this crucial game either. With Rob Quiney going well as Graeme Smith's latest opening partner, the Royals may be unchanged.
Conditions
This is only the second game to be played in Bloemfontein but the indications on Friday were that the pitch here is similar to the others we have seen in this tournament, with very little pace in it.
Match Odds
Delhi slipped up against a lively Punjab side on Friday and they will be keen to ensure that complacency does not set in ahead of the semi-finals. That said, they will have their work cut out against the Royals who simply refuse to lie down. Their intense fielding effort has been one of the delights of the tournament and as the pitches have slowed down, they have adapted by leaning more heavily on spin bowling. If they had a couple more batsmen, they would be unstoppable. It should not be forgotten that they beat Delhi by five wickets earlier in the tournament and though the Daredevils are likely to be as short as [1.65], Rajasthan are well worth backing at [2.2] or higher.
Top Batsmen
Dinesh Karthik top scored for Delhi on Friday, lies third in the Daredevils batting averages and is the value selection at [7.0] or better. Rajasthan's top batsman market is a wide open one but Ravindra Jadeja is as good as any at [5.5]
Featured Market
Friday's game was relatively hard work for the batsmen and it could be worth backing 'Under 300.5' in the Total Match Runs market, if you can get anywhere near [2.0].
