Andrew Hughes looks forward to a tight match on a pitch with something for everyone...
Team News
Chennai got back on track against Bangalore and their reshuffled line-up looked much better, with Flintoff dropping down to five. Parthiv Patel hasn't yet convinced in the opening slot and could give way to Murali Vijay or Vidyuth Sivaramakrishnan. Delhi's batting will probably be unchanged, with only Sehwag and Gambhir getting a work out in their opener against Punjab. Glenn McGrath should also make his first IPL 2009 start.
Conditions
Kingsmead offers something for everyone. There is often enough in the pitch to keep the seamers interested and some springy bounce. For the batsmen, there is the short boundary on one side and the lack of pace which means that shorter deliveries sit up nicely for the pull or the cut.
Match Odds
Chennai are getting their gameplan together but still look a little leaden footed and their failure to rotate the strike in between the big hits cost them against Mumbai. No batting problems for Delhi though their much-vaunted bowling looked weak against Punjab, Vettori aside. This should be a tight game and if you feel that these two are pretty well matched you might be leaning towards the bigger priced of the two, Chennai at [1.96].
Top Bat
Chennai are loaded with big hitters and you could make a good case for backing any one of Hayden, Raina, Dhoni, Flintoff or Morkel. Hayden is in great nick, though he has twice been dropped early on in his innings. But I would favour Dhoni who is now batting at four and has the patience to build an innings as well as go for the big shots. He should be available at around [5.5] For Delhi, you would be foolish to oppose the awesome Sehwag even at likely odds of [3.5]
Featured Market
Durban lends itself to six hitting and with plenty of batting power on display, you could do worse than back '14 or more' in the total sixes market if you can get anything around [3.0].

Delhi are playing without David Warner for reasons only known to them . There is no comparison between warner and dilshan. Ashish Nehra to has a lot to prove as he has been traded for dhawan who was one of the best batsmen last year. With the team selection i would lay delhi @ 1.85 and then lay them further if they post a good total as they lack a formidable bowling and i dont trust nehra too much so its chennai for me today specially at the odds.
