Andrew Flintoff believes Lancashire have got what it takes to end their long wait for silverware by lifting the County Championship this season.
Lancashire came so close to lifting the trophy last season before Sussex pipped them at the death but Flintoff is confident that the Championship will soon return to Old Trafford, especially if the rain holds off.
"It is frustrating. We have lost of a lot of championship cricket to rain over the last two years - and it has cost us," Flintoff said.
"I think we can do well in the championship this year. There is a lot of quality in our team. We've not won anything for a while now - the championship has been elusive for a long time.
"But I don't think we should put a lid on what we can achieve. We are a top side - we can win anything."
In a developing market Lancashire are trading at 4.3 to lift the Championship, while arch-rivals Yorkshire are 2.83 favourites following an impressive start to the new season that has seen them win their opening three games.
