Andrew Flintoff has apologised for his late-night antics and is expected to return to the England side for the final group game against Kenya.
The Lancashire all-rounder has been sacked as England vice-captain and was dropped from the side that beat Canada, after an unauthorised drinking session following the opening defeat to New Zealand.
In a statement, Flintoff said: "I know what I did was completely wrong and I have to take full responsbility.
"There can be no excuses on my part. I know I shouldn't have done what I did."
He added: "To my team-mates and the England supporters that I let down, all I can say is that I am extremely sorry and assure everyone that I will be giving 110% for England for the rest of this tournament."
The 29-year-old has accepted his punishment and the England selection panel are expected to recall him for Saturday's final Group C game.
Despite losing to New Zealand and claiming a less than impressive win over Canada, Betfair punters believe England will progress to the Super 8 stage.
England are currently trading at 1.15 to win Saturday's game in St Lucia, with Kenya available to back at 6.8.
