Craig McMillan says the New Zealand camp is more confident than ever that they can win the World Cup, with the Black Caps unbeaten in the tournament so far.
The veteran batsman is in his third World Cup with New Zealand and believes the Kiwis are capable of winning the event.
The 30-year-old said: "There is a real underbelly of belief that we can win this. I don't believe that has always been the case at the previous two tournaments.
"The start we have had has given more credence to that confidence. But we are also aware that we've got four big games coming up and three in six days against Sri Lanka, South Africa and Australia.
"That is going to be a huge test and a good insight into where we are placed."
McMillan believes the depth of the Black Caps batting line-up could prove to be the key to success.
He added: "We bat very low down and we are strong in the last 10 overs and I think that will become very prevalent in the last few games of the tournament.
"The strength for New Zealand is that we have guys from one to 11 who can, on his day, win a game."
After taking two points from the group stage and winning their opening two Super 8 matches, New Zealand can be backed at 2.38 to reach the final.
Meanwhile, Stephen Fleming's men can be backed at 5.9 in the World Cup winner market - which is still headed by Australia (2.32).
