Duncan Fletcher has warned England to forget about the permutations which could see England book a World Cup semi-finals spot - and instead focus on beating Bangladesh.
The Three Lions must win their remaining three matches - and hope other results go their way - to stand any chance of reaching the last four of the Caribbean extravaganza.
Next up for England is Wednesday's game against the Tigers at the Kensington Oval and Fletcher has warned his players to focus on the task in hand instead of other issues.
"We want to win every game and we know if we do that we'll have a good chance of reaching the semi-finals," said Fletcher.
"It's probably going to go down to a calculation but you don't want to go into that in great depth - to us the most important thing is to win the next game.
"We have to go out and beat Bangladesh, that's the first step and then we'll have a look at it from there - if we go into the game with any other thoughts in our mind we'll probably get lost."
England are the 1.24 favourites to win their Super 8 clash against Bangladesh, who have already pulled off shock wins over against India and South Africa and can be backed at 5 in the Match Odds market for this game.
England are trading at 1.2 to be eliminated at the Super 8 stage of the competition, but are also on offer at 5 in the Reach Semi-Final market, with Bangladesh available at 12.5 to also make the last four.
