Alastair Cook believes there are exciting times ahead for the England cricket team and feels new coach Peter Moores has made a big difference.
Cook began his career under former coach Duncan Fletcher, making an immediate impact in the game, and has blossomed this summer with Moores at the helm.
The 22-year-old has scored six centuries in his fledgling Test career and averages 46.29, but has made just two appearances in limited overs internationals.
Moores has included the Essex man in his squad for the upcoming one-day series with the West Indies and Cook is looking forward to being part of a successful new-look England side in the shorter version of the game.
"This is a new era and is a new exciting time to be playing for England," he told Skysports.com. "The sky is the limit. We have got to get our cricket right and build the way we want to build.
"We've got a good crop of young players who are gaining experience all the time and if we keep doing what we have to do to improve everyday then we can become a very good side."
