Yorkshire were knocked off the top of the LV County Championship Division One table as Hampshire salvaged a draw at the Rose Bowl.
Set a huge 443 to win, Hampshire were 336-8 when captain Shane Warne was dismissed with almost 14 overs still to negotiate.
But Nic Pothas (76no) batted out time with Stuart Clark to deny Darren Gough's side and end the visitors' 100 per cent start to the season.
Younis Khan's four second innings wickets capped a fine all-round display, having earlier become the only player in Yorkshire history to score a double century and a century in the same game.
Warwickshire surged to the top of the table at Worcester with an innings and 113-run win over struggling rivals Worcestershire.
Resuming on 151-3, Ben Smith was out for 65 and Graeme Hick did not add to his overnight score of 66 as Alex Loudon snapped him up off pacy Naqqash Taqir's bowling.
The home side were all out for 209 as Warwickshire wrapped up victory before lunch.
Dale Steyn ended with eight wickets in the match and Taqir grabbed six.
Yorkshire remain 3.05 favourites in Betfair's County Champs Division One - Winner's market, despite falling to second place.
Lancashire, who wrapped up their victory over Surrey a day early, are 3.9 to lift their first title since 1955 while Hampshire (4.1) and Warwickshire (4.6) are next in the market.
