Harrison injury leads to Glamorgan search
Glamorgan have indicated that they may look for an overseas replacement for David Harrison, who has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
The 25-year-old has a back injury which requires surgery and the medium pacer will undergo an operation within the next two weeks.
With Simon Jones still looking to get back to full fitness, Glamorgan are short of bowling options and make look overseas to strengthen their ranks.
Coach Adrian Shaw admitted: "It's a huge blow to lose David. He's been our best one-day bowler and he's also an exceedingly good new-ball bowler.
"There are various options we can look at for a replacement. We will look at those towards the start of this week."
Betfair punters expect the injury problems to lead to a Glamorgan struggle in County Championship Division Two this season - they are currently on offer at 70 to top the division.
Meanwhile, Glamorgan are also among the outsiders for the domestic one-day titles - the Pro 40 and Friends Provident Trophies.
