England touch [17.5] before chasing 294 in a Test where all three outcomes traded at odds-on
The Second Test between England and New Zealand was a trader's dream for Betfair customers with all three outcomes trading at odds-on before England, matched at a high of [17.5], eventually chased 294 to win it.
With New Zealand taking a hefty lead into the half-way stage and making a good start to their own second innings, England drifted to this top price of [17.5].
New Zealand were matched at a low of [1.55] when batting on Sunday afternoon and threatening to post a nigh-impossible target for England to chase before a batting collapse meant the target was "just" 294. The draw traded at [1.52] early on in the Test when a combination of what looked a good batting track and overs lost to rain threatened to result in a second stalemate after the draw in the first Test at Lord's.
England are now just [1.13] to win the Series, having been matched at a high of [15.0] whilst the drawn Series is a [6.8] chance, having traded at a low of [2.08] during the second Test.
