Andrew Symonds is an injury worry for Australia as they prepare for the Commonwealth Bank series finals and the World Cup.
The all-rounder suffered a bicep injury during Friday's one-day defeat to England in Sydney, which eventually forced him to retire hurt on 39.
Symonds appeared to suffer the problem when powering a Sajid Mahmood delivery to the boundary and was later forced to leave the field.
Speaking after the SGC encounter, stand-in skipper Adam Gilchrist said: "It's a simple case that we'll know more on Saturday when he has a scan. I'm sure over the next few days there'll be more light shed on this."
The injury though will be a major concern for the Australian selectors, with Symonds likely to be such a key player in the Caribbean showpiece with both bat and ball.
Punters who have backed the defending champions, available at 2.56 to win the World Cup for a fourth time, will also be worried by the way Ricky Ponting's men have bowled in their recent matches.
England's win in Sydney has had little impact on their odds for World Cup success, with the three-time runners-up trading at 15.5.
