Betfair's 'Top West Indies Runscorer' market has a wide open look to it following the news that captain Ramnaresh Sarwan could miss the remainder of their tour of England due to a shoulder problem.
Sarwan damaged his ac joint when trying to stop a boundary on day one of the second Test at Headingley, and the skipper didn't bat in the first innings.
The 26-year-old, who's career has been blighted by fitness problems, has indicated that he may now miss the remaining two Tests and maybe even the planned two Twenty20 fixtures and the One-Day series.
Sarwan said: "We will sit down after this Test match and make a decision about my further involvement in the series.
"It is obviously disappointing to be injured so regularly but I will have to overcome this injury as I have overcome all my previous injuries."
Having traded at 4.10, Sarwan has now drifted out to 14 to be the Windies top batsman in the Test series. Chris Gayle heads the market at 3.25 while Shivnarine Chanderpaul, who is also an injury concern after missing the Headingley Test with a knee injury, is on offer at 3.4.
Daren Ganga, the official vice-captain, is standing by to deputise for Sarwan if he is ruled out.
