England new boy Jonathan Trott looks set to be available for the first Twenty20 match with the West Indies, after training on Wednesday.
The 26-year-old was called into the squad for his first taste of international cricket but picked up a knock to his left hand while batting in the nets.
The South African-born batsman was considered a doubt for the opening clash at the Brit Oval, along with regular Test batsman Ian Bell, but it appears the right-hander will be fit to play should he make the starting XI.
England are strong favourites to win the match and can be backed at 1.5 to go one-nil up in the two-match series, with the tourists available at 2.96.
Paul Collingwood's charges are on offer at 2.06 to win the series while the Windies trade at 6.6 and a drawn series is available at 2.6.
Trott scored 342 runs at an average of 114 in the group stages of the Friends Provident Trophy and is in red-hot form going into the clash in south London, but it is unclear whether Warwickshire team-mate Bell will join him in the line-up.
The diminutive right-hander tweaked a groin muscle on Tuesday and sat out early training on Wednesday in the hope that the injury would settle down.
England officials are confident that Bell will be fit for the expected run-fest but the likes of Kevin Pietersen and skipper Collingwood will be expected to provide the majority of runs for the home side in the shortest version of the game.
