Betfair's Charity of the Year in 2006, the two continue their association with Betfair supporting the ongoing work of the charity.
The Brooke reaches over 650,000 working horses, donkeys and mules each year. The work these animals do is vital to so many people living in poverty in the developing world. However, millions of horses, donkeys and mules are suffering right now, in an almost indescribable way. They endure backbreaking work as they are often overloaded, as they haul goods and people to help their poor owners eke out a living.
In 2008 Betfair donated £5000 to aid their work in Pakistan.
