Betfair is committed to supporting charities as part of its comprehensive Corporate Social Responsibility strategy. In 2007 it donated over £350,000 to 40 different causes.
Each year Betfair nominates a 'Charity of the Year'. The two will work together on a series of fundraising events, with Betfair committed to matching the first £125,000 raised. SportsAid is Betfair's nominated charity partner for 2008, following on from a successful partnership in 2007.
