MACAO is booming.
As the NY Times reports, "gambling revenue from casinos in Macao leapt 46.6 percent last year to reach about 83 billion patacas ($10.4 billion)."
Last year Macao surpassed Las Vegas as the biggest gambling venue; this year it looks likely to exceed all of Nevada.
Casinos in Macao rely mostly on table games for their revenue, against Las Vegas, which gets the majority of its gambling revenue from slot machines.
