Every morning at Santa Anita, Breeders' Cup horses work out on the track. TVG watch the action and report back
Unlike the green and spacious areas of Lambourne and County Kildare, in America most horses are actually track-based for the majority of their careers and only ever ride on the same track.
Each morning, if you so wish, you can pop down to watch your favourite horse going through his workouts. It's a big deal Stateside where punters look for pointers on upcoming races.
With the Europeans going to stretch their legs later today (03/11/2009) we thought you might like to catch up on our boys in America have been talking about.
TVG's 'The Works' is their early morning show live from the track covering all the latest gallops, news from paddock and interviews with trainers.
