Judd Trump is ready to beat the very best at this level and taht includes dispatching Graeme Dott
"In the other quarter final starting today, Judd Trump is justifiably the favourite, coming into the game on the back of a fantastic run of form which dates back to the first round of the recent China Open, which of course he won."
Alex Lee believes Allen can give Williams the game of his life in the clash of the Marks, while Judd Trump will beat Graeme Dott.

Many snooker players get tagged with a reputation which sticks from their early days, but doesn't reflect their current abilities. Mark Williams, for example, is often referred to as 'the best single ball potter in the game'. He was, once, granted - about 10 years ago. That title, as far as I'm concerned, is now jointly shared by Ding Junhui and Mark Allen. The latter, Mark Allen, faces Mark Williams in the quarter finals. Williams, who is the eighth-highest century break maker of all time, having compiled over 250 ton-plusses in his career, is rightly the favourite, but his odds of [1.4] to win the match are far too short.
The recommended tip for this game is therefore to lay Williams with a view to trading out later in the match.
While you would expect Allen to be a little jaded after two consecutive final-frame victories, there's no substitute for table time in tournaments and I strongly believe that Allen can get off to a good start and make a mockery of the pre-match odds.
In the other quarter final starting today, Judd Trump is justifiably the favourite, coming into the game on the back of a fantastic run of form which dates back to the first round of the recent China Open, which of course he won. Trump is a genuine contender for this season's World Championship, while Dott hasn't quite got the break-building game required to progress any further in this season's tournament. I can see Trump winning this comfortably, so back him accordingly.
Recommended Bets:
Lay Williams @ [1.4] with a view to re-backing in-running
Back Trump to beat Dott @ [1.87]
