...and winners on Betfair too as maximum break is backed at [4.8]
Ronnie O'Sullivan lit up the Crucible with an almost effortless 147 this afternoon.
The Rocket knocked in the maximum in the final frame of his second round encounter with Mark Williams to seal a 13-7 win. The victory ends Williams long spell as a top-16 player.
The big break will mean winners and losers on Betfair - backers of a 147 at the Crucible took a high price of [4.8] while 'No' was backed at a low of [1.26].
It's unlikely they'll have won as much as Ronnie however. O'Sullivan will bag £157,000 if his maximum proves to be the only one scored at the tournament.
"Obviously it's more important to win the game but that money gives me a few options in the summer," said Ronnie.
"I'll be getting a Bentley Convertible now - I've been dying to get one."
The 32-year-old trades as the [2.6] favourite to land the tournament with Stephen Maguire apparently providing the only viable opposition at [3.5].
