In the lead up to this weekend's round seven of the MotoGP world championship we were joined by a true legend of the sport.
Kevin Schwantz is one of the most well respected and loved riders to ever pull on a pair of leathers. The Texan won 25 Grand Prixes from 1987 through to 1995 and was World Champion in 2003 on his famous number 34 Suzuki. His duels with other legends like Rainey, Lawson, Gardner and Doohan is widely regarded as the golden era of Grand Prix motorcycle racing. He spoke with our MotoGP columnist Trent Burton on Friday with his thoughts on the year's racing so far and what lies ahead for the rest of the season.
