He also believes Raikkonen will apologise to Hamilton.
Eddie Jordan says the pitlane calamity which lead to Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Raikkonen crashing out of the Canadian Grand Prix at the Circuit Gilles Villenuve was "very unfortunate."
He told Befair Radio: "Lewis Hamilton was very unlucky. He had the race in the bag. He was cruising. If he was my driver I would just say it was one of those things."
Jordan also believes Raikkonen was wrong to brand Hamilton 'stupid':
"Raikkonen would have done exactly the same thing. At some stage when he has seen what went on he will sit with Lewis and say: 'I'm sorry about what I said.'"
Hamilton, who was hit with a ten place penalty for the French Grand Prix in two weeks, lost the race to his long-time friend and rival Robert Kubica.
Jordan said: "Robert Kubica is very strong. He is a champion in the making."
Hamilton is [3.7] for the title while Raikkonen is the [2.4] favourite.
Kubica is up to [10.5].
