Rubens Barrichello has been matched at a high of 950 on Betfair to be crowned champion this year.
A communication problem between Lewis Hamilton and his McLaren mechanics cost him the European GP but another British driver, Jenson Button, has actually strengthened his grip on the Championship, says Jamie Pacheco.
Rubens Barrichello was matched at odds of [46.0] on Betfair to win the European GP in Valencia but his victory did not come in the manner most would have expected. Lewis Hamilton was pretty much untroubled ahead of the pack and traded at just [1.17] to win but a miscommunication with the pits, resulting in the McLaren mechanics not having his tyres ready for his second stop, ultimately cost him the race.
The win has seen Rubens Barrichello shorten for the Driver's Championship to [10.5] from an incredible high of 950 but it's not all bad news for seventh-placed Jenson Button, who gained a further advantage over Mark Webber in the Championship race after his Red Bull team-mate finished just ninth.
Button is [1.53] to be crowned champion with Sebastian Vettel, (who retired today with engine problems) trading at 8.6 and Mark Webber [7.6].
