Sebastian Vettel was matched at 230 on Betfair to win the Italian GP, one of the largest winning pre-race prices ever on a Betfair Formula One market.
It's no surprise that customers on Betfair were able to secure such a price given that it was Vettel's maiden victory and that in the process he became the youngest-ever winner in F1.
His task was helped by the fact that he started on Pole Position but the German was still trading at around the 11 mark at the off. Lewis Hamilton traded at [1.9] in running for the win and his team mate Kovalainen at [1.99]. Kubica was matched at 9 for a podium finish.
At this stage last week Lewis Hamilton was just [1.44] on Betfair to win the World Championship but his relegation from first to third in last week's race plus a further point lost today to the chief beneficiary of last week's relegation - Felipe Massa - has seen Hamilton's odds drift to [1.78] with Massa just behind him in the betting at [2.32].
