Brit matched at [1.1] to take pole position but can't hold advantage

Lewis Hamilton was matched at [1.1] on Betfair to qualify first on the grid for tomorrow's British Grand Prix.

But despite threatening numerous times and holding the top spot he was unable to take first place which instead went to team-mate Heikki Kovalainen. The 'other' McLaren driver was matched at a high of [21.0] on the exchange.

Australia's Mark Webber was the surprise driver of the day - taking second place in his Red Bull Renault. Webber was matched at an in-running low of evens to hold pole position.

Hamilton will go off fourth from the grid and is the [3.8] third favourite to take the race from Kovalainen at [2.92] and Kimi Raikkonen at [3.6]. Webber trades at [30.0].
