"All but a few of the top players in the PDC now devote their life to the oche, often practising for up to eight hours a day and without that level of commitment Webster has been found lagging."
Jaymes Monte is backing a fast Dutchman against an under-prepared Brit
Things haven't quite gone to plan for Mark Webster since joining the PDC. The 2008 BDO World Champion switched organisations in February this year but has quickly learned that being a part-time darts player in the PDC - Webster is a plumber by trade and has never committed himself to becoming a professional darts player - does not offer the same successes as it does in the BDO.
All but a few of the top players in the PDC now devote their life to the oche, often practising for up to eight hours a day and without that level of commitment Webster has been found lagging.
Up against the Dutchman Vincent van der Voort today I can't see anything other than a resounding win for the 'Fastest Player in the World'. This short, sharp, first to five format is ideally suited to his game and he could be out of sight before Webster can find a wrench to stop the flooding.
Selection: Back Vincent van der Voort to beat Mark Webster @ [1.8]
