Matthew Pitt is a poker enthusiast hailing from Leeds, West Yorkshire.

His poker career started around five years ago when he broke his arm in a motorcycle accident and saw an advert in a shopping centre’s toilet, of all places, for online poker! After quickly losing his initial two deposits he decided to study the game to give himself an edge over his opponents.

Matthew admits to being a poker book, blog and forum geek having read most of the mainstream poker books written since 2000, being a member of no fewer than six forums and spending numerous hours each day reading and commenting on poker blogs!

When he’s not studying up on the game Matthew can be found plying his trade at the No-limit Hold’em tables or in small buy-in multi-table tournaments.
