Incredibly, 5 of the 14 jockeys in the 12.40pm race are riding for their parents who train! This includes the connections of Kirsty's Lad who goes from one extreme to the other - a 100/1 winner at Wolverhampton last October, he has been a beaten favourite on his last two starts!
Elusive Hawk in the 3.40pm goes for a treble of wins at this course. His only career wins to date have been at Southwell.
Irish trainer Tony Martin is a rare Flat raider on these shores with just 13 runners in five seasons - yielding four winners. He runs Mugs Game at 2.40pm.
