12.00pm Join Alex Steedman and Graeme Smith for all the action from today's three meetings at Catterick, Folkestone and Southwell.
Catterick
Type Jump
First Race 12.30pm
Notable Jockeys
There is a Champion Jockey in attendance, but not a household name. Clare Twemlow won the John Smiths' People's Race which takes place at Aintree on Grand National Day. So confident was she on a Barney Curley-trained mount that she was smiling from a furlong out. Finding that steering job too easy, she's become an amateur rider and taken the challenge of riding over hurdles. She rises Ramvaswani for Newmarket trainer Neil King in the 12.30pm race.
Denis O'Regan, top 10 rider and stable jockey to Howard Johnson and owner Graham Wylie. Graham Lee - top Northern rider. Timmy Murphy 2008 Grand National winning jockey
Notable Horses
The feature race is a Handicap Chase over the extended three miles and one furlong, won last year by Sparkling Taff, trained at High Eldwick near Bingley by Sue Smith, who was Catterick's leading trainer last season, she has Pams Oak this year. However trainer Howard Johnson goes for a hat-trick of wins in this race with Basoda.
1.30pm Peppertree Lane is a Group 3 winner on the Flat looking to build on a promising debut over hurdles.
