Notable Jockeys: Richard Hughes - lies 2nd in the jockeys championship having ridden over 110 winners this season.

Dane O'Neill is 8th in the title race.

Chasing the Apprentice Champion crown is young David Probert.

In the 3.05pm, Rocker goes for a hat-trick & a double at Brighton.

Notable Horses: Astarador (2.40pm) was a classy hurdler and made a winning chase debut over course and distance last time out.

Nine De Sivola (4.15pm) has not run since April 2007 when he was second in both the Irish and Scottish Grand Nationals.

Ludlow

Robert 'Choc' Thornton rode over 100 winners last season & won the Champion hurdle, another to accomplish this number of winners was Richard Johnson

Tom O'Brien - 7th in the jockeys championship and nephew of the all-conquering Irish trainer Aiden O'Brien.

Notable Horses: The 3.55pm sees last years winner, Golden Square bid for a repeat performance.

Jonjo O'Neill won the 2.55pm last season and tries again this year with Felinous. This mare from the same family as brilliant chaser Teeton Mill should relish the switch to fences.

Great Leighs

Majuba (7.20pm) has been 2nd or 3rd on his last 6 starts. Be warned though - he has been a beaten favourite three times, including at odds-on twice!

Mazaris (8.50pm) has a similar profile - he has been 2nd or 3rd on his last 5 starts including twice as favourite.
